We Do Custom Framing

I started my first frame job in 1958. It was a simple thing to do for my mother. But I was hooked! From that time on framing was my hobby and then as I became very good at it I decided in 1974 that it was the one thing I could do to insure my income instead of just being a starving artist. In the BlueGrass Center of Kentucky You would expect horse related objects: but this area has some serious collectors also. I often get called upon to consult with museums.

Our approach to framing is to find out where the finished piece will hang, follow the style of the art work in selecting components. Over 30,000 pieces of art have passed through our framing gallery over the years; some would be considered ordinary while others are centuries old and require our special expertise in placing them in a protective setting called museum framing. It was my intention from the beginning to be the best there was and often I am cited for just that. I know, toot my own horn! But I am good at what I do.

Acid free components are always standard at our Frame shop!
